How we met: Kristi: Jesse and I met at a local spot in his hometown.  We had both gone to the Choctaw Oktoberfest earlier that evening with separate groups of friends and ended up at Charlies.  My friend had stepped out for a phone call while I was busy getting drinks so when I returned to our spot she was no where to be found.  I walked around the bar a few times before being cornered near the bathrooms by this child like boy with a giant smile, Jesse.  He was convinced we needed to go on a date, I, was not.  I think we stood there for ten minutes arguing about why or why not he should have my number before my friend made her way back inside and gave it to him anyway.  Jesse will tell you he knew from the second he saw me that he would marry me.  I needed some more convincing, indecisive and stubborn if you will.  We casually dated for a few months before I realized there was no getting rid of this guy!  I guess it is a good thing that he was so persistent and direct about his feelings and plans for our future.  He is by far the best thing that has ever cornered me near a public restroom!

What we love about OKC: I think, as a couple, we would both agree that we love the diversity the city has to offer; it's ever growing and changing scenery and culture. We love finding new places to eat or going on adventures, whether it's local restaurants we've been to 10 times or just strolling through the Myriad Gardens. We are always getting out and doing things as a family or just spending a night gorging ourselves with delicious food. Living near Oklahoma City our whole lives you would think we've seen all there is to see but this city is constantly growing and there is always something new to take part in.

What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day?

Kristi: Marrying my best friend.  I am so excited to solidify our love for each other and share in that joy with the people we love most.  The memories we will make on that day will last a lifetime.  I am also excited to have the entire wedding and bridal experience that every little girl dreams about.

Jesse: Seeing the look on my best friends face when we say, “I do”.  She is the love of my life, the backbone of our family and the support I need from home while I am providing for it.  I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.  She is perfect in my eyes.  Oh…I am also looking forward to the honeymoon sex, just kidding, but really.
