Respect The Land is a cultural movement to put focus on the stewardship of our lands and waters in Oklahoma (Indian Territory). This is a call to action.

This is an intentional movement to educate all about the 39 tribes that reside in Oklahoma. The use of indigenous art will be a component to inform about the history of the original lands from which each tribe was removed.

This cultural movement is about reconnecting to nature and raising up wisdom from the original stewards.

This is about empowerment of both young and old to use their best thinking to problem solve the issues we face that pollute Oklahoma.

This is about respecting this place we live and being a light to the world in leaving things better than we found them. This includes our people.

All merchandise for Respect The Land will be sold through Plenty Mercantile. This will include limited runs of merchandise starting with the foundational design. The original art was created by local Oklahoma City Artist Jack Fowler in 2020.

All merchandise will have a % allocated to new art designs from all 39 tribes and direct donations for environmental initiatives with each of the 39 tribes in Oklahoma.

This is a holistic model designed around sustainability, investing in people, raising up communities, and the betterment of the natural world.

This collaboration organically evolved through the collective work of Respect the Land Oklahoma/Brent Allen and Plenty Mercantile to impact Oklahoma in long term sustainable initiatives. The discovery of their mutual Cherokee heritage in 2023 says a lot about their natural sense of stewardship.
